Welcome to Prayers, Hugs, and Sparkles!

Everyday God blesses me with hugs and sparkles! The mountain view from my deck, the whisper of a hummingbird, the velvety-petal of a rose, and visits or phone calls from my children are reminders of God's love.

In Prayers, Hugs, and Sparkles (or as I often say: Prayers, Hugs, and Sparkle Bugs!) I will post my thoughts on living along the Blue Ridge Parkway! I'll also share anecdotes about the writing life, keep you up to date on my latest publications and works in progress, and whatever else begs to be written.
